The Robla String Project, in partnership with the California State University, Sacramento (CSUS) String Project, is providing an incredible opportunity for Robla School District students in fourth grade and above to learn the violin or cello through well-structured group lessons. These lessons are led by talented undergraduate and graduate teachers from the CSUS School of Music, with oversight from experienced instructors.
Classes are set to begin in September and are offered in two 10-week sessions—one in the fall and one in the spring. Robla School District will provide transportation for students to attend lessons at Sacramento State University on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. In addition, a Saturday class will be held at Main Avenue Elementary School.
To ensure that all students have access to this opportunity, the district has purchased instruments for students to borrow while enrolled in the program.

We look forward to seeing our young musicians thrive!
